30 NFL club marketing sponsorships for National Dairy Council
Team Services LLC has delivered a five year sponsorship renewal with the National Football League (NFL) and its longtime client, Dairy Management, Inc (DMI) through the 2013 NFL season, making the National Dairy Council an official Youth Marketing Partner of the NFL. In addition, Team Services has negotiated approximately 30 NFL club marketing sponsorships for DMI and its regional dairy promotional associations for the 2008 NFL season. In addition to local NFL club sponsorships, Team Services has worked with NFL Players, the licensing and marketing subsidiary of the NFL Players Association, to negotiate agreements with a host of NFL players, ringing DMI’s roster of “Team Dairy” endorsers to over 30 active NFL players that will promote the National Dairy Council’s nationwide children’s nutrition and fitness initiative.
Founded in 1915, the National Dairy Council® (NDC) conducts nutrition education and nutrition research programs through national, state and regional Dairy Council organizations, on behalf of America’s dairy farmers. The National Dairy Council has fostered long-held traditions of giving back to communities and providing health and wellness education to America’s youth. Local dairy promotion groups will continue to work with the NFL and local NFL teams to implement tactical programs to reach school children to promote physical fitness and healthy eating.
NDC has made a commitment over the next five years to the health of America’s youth by teaming up with the NFL, and is launching a national youth health and wellness platform. As a part of its sponsorship renewal, the NFL and NDC are joining forces to further demonstrate their commitment to overcome the health and wellness epidemic in America’s youth. Recognizing that schools are uniquely positioned to support healthy change in youth, the NDC, with 95 years of experience working in schools, and the NFL together are launching an in-school program, Fuel Up To Play.
The commitment will build upon existing NDC and NFL programs including 3-A-Day of DairyNFL Play 60: The NFL Movement for an Active Generation. 3-A-Day of Dairy is a program designed to educate Americans on the health benefits of consuming 3 servings of milk, cheese or yogurt a day. NFL Play 60 encourages kids and their families to “get up and play an hour a day.” Fuel Up To Play has been designed to engage and encourage youth to get the foods and physical activity (60 minutes a day) they need to excel – and motivate their friends to do the same. and
Fuel Up To Play is being delivered to schools across the country to encourage positive change in student eating and physical activity habits. As the sports marketing agency for Dairy Management, Inc., Team Services negotiates and activates all aspects of DMI’s sponsorship with the NFL, including negotiating all local NFL Club sponsorships on behalf of the local state and regional promotional dairy associations, which include contract negotiation, sponsorship consultation, implementation for all NFL entertainment and hospitality programs, as well as managing all NFL player endorsements with NFL PLAYERS.
