Joseph Bramlett Posts Best Career PGA Finish
Midway through his rookie season on the PGA Tour, Joseph Bramlett posted a career best finish at the Viking Classic on the weekend of July 14-17. By finishing the event at T-18th, Bramlett achieved his first top 20 finish as a PGA professional. The Viking Classic is held at Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Mississippi.
After having his second round was delayed until Saturday due to rain and rallying to make the cut by a single stroke, Bramlett turned in two of the best performances of the final rounds. Joseph’s bogey-free third round and his 66 in the final round helped him climb up the leader board. His final tournament score of 15-under is his lowest score to par thus far. He finished seven strokes behind fellow rookie Chris Kirk, who won his first PGA Tour tournament.
