Team Partnerships
American Dairy Association Mid-East and Cleveland Browns
In conjunction with Dairy Management Inc’s official partnership with the NFL, Team Services secured the rights for the American Dairy Association Mideast to activate a local sponsorship with the NFL Cleveland Browns.
ADA Mideast works closely with the NFL Cleveland Browns in integrating the children’s nutrition and fitness platform into the Browns Reading program at local schools, and Browns’ WR Braylon Edwards is featured in several school marketing campaigns for the initiative. Locally, ADA Mideast collaborates with the Cleveland Browns to reach kids through school nutrition promotions, public relations activities and retail promotions.
undefinedIn 2007, ADA Mideast, in conjunction with the Cleveland Browns, introduced Touch Down” Milk, a Cleveland Browns-branded product line that hit the dairy case aisle at Cleveland-area Giant Eagle grocery stores. Distributed by Ohio-based processor Reiter Dairy, Touch Down lowfat milk is packaged in 16-oz. plastic bottles and is available in three great-tasting flavors: Choco-Dawg (chocolate), Nilla-Dawg (vanilla) and Straw-Dawg (strawberry). The attractive milk bottle features the Cleveland Browns Dawg and the 3-A-Day of Dairy logo, which reminds families to get three daily dairy servings as recommended by the U.S. Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
“The American Dairy Association Mideast is pleased to introduce Touch Down milk,” said Scott Higgins, CEO for the American Dairy Association Mideast. “Partnering with the Cleveland Browns and associating their image to wholesome, nutritious milk, is a good way to encourage children and adults to get 3-A-Day of Dairy.”
As a part of the sponsorship agreement, Team Services negotiates the rights for ADA Mideast and DMI to receive the opportunity to use Browns trademarks in market-wide promotions, facility use, hospitality and limited team media. The American Dairy Association Mideast is a nonprofit organization that executes programs funded and directed by approximately 3,500 dairy farmers in Ohio and West Virginia, help increase sales and demand for dairy products and ingredients.
