Fred Fried, Principal

Fred Fried has nearly thirty years of experience in sports marketing, with a strong emphasis in the areas of major level sponsorship/advertising sales, including naming rights, corporate marketing consulting, athlete representation, and licensed product development.

As co-founder and principal of Team Services, Fried currently oversees projects for top clients Emory University and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).

Recognized for his negotiating skill and track record of sales success, Fried’s experience also includes strategic planning and marketing for Fortune 100 brands and international program development. Some of Fried’s top accomplishments have been negotiating groundbreaking  naming rights agreements for collegiate and professional venues, including Comcast Center (now XFINITY Center), Ericsson Stadium (now Bank of America Stadium), M&T Bank Stadium and Conseco Fieldhouse (now Bankers Life Fieldhouse) as well as creating the first sports marketing initiatives for Burger King.

Throughout his career, Fried has worked on behalf of Georgetown University, Milk Processors Education Program (widely known for its “got Milk?” marketing campaign), PNC Bank, and also represented some the most successful professional athletes in the world.

Fried has held other senior positions at Integrated Sports International, SFX Entertainment, Clear Channel Entertainment and ProServ. Fred is a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park.
