Fuel Up to Play 60 & Subway Kick Off National Promotion
Subway, America’s dairy farmers, and the NFL have joined forces to help encourage healthy habits and deliver needed meals to the 1 in 4 children who are facing food insecurity. Starting October 1, Subway will introduce two new Fuel Up to Play 60 promotions – Tackle Hunger & 60-Cent 6-Inch Sundays – across nearly 21,000 locations. Participating Subway locations will feature promotional information and signage about the programs:
Tackle Hunger: All Subway customers, between October 1 – November 30, will have the opportunity to donate to Fuel Up to Play 60 (FUTP 60) grants which benefit local schools and children by helping to deliver meals to the children who need them most. These funds will be directed to GENYOUth and distributed to local schools across the country.
60-Cent 6-Inch Sundays: Every Sunday, between October 1 – December 31, children who complete the FUTP 60 “Healthy Habits Tracker” will receive a 6-inch sub for just 60 cents. The “Healthy Habits Tracker” is designed to help track healthy eating and physical activity and create a foundation for a lifetime of healthy habits.
As the Sports Marketing Agency for Dairy Management Inc. (DMI), Team Services has played a vital role in the development of this opportunity between Subway, America’s dairy farmers, and the NFL. Recognizing the shared commitment of each organization, Team Services worked alongside Subway’s marketing agency, Proof Advertising, to develop an integrated program. Team Services will continue to manage the execution of the partnership, inclusive of NFL player and NFL media activations moving forward.
